Adventures in England…Day 6

I am currently blogging while sitting downstairs in the pub of our Bed & Breakfast with all the locals watching a football game (soccer). They have taken a break from watching the game to play a quiz game. I just got interrupted while blogging to give  locals help with questions that are about America hehe.

Since we didn’t need to rush around for anything this morning, we woke up around 9:30am and just relaxed. Around 12:00pm we packed a picnic and went to a little park to have lunch.

After lunch we went for a long walk in the woods down the road from where we were staying

After we walked in the woods, we went to Heidi’s apartment where a cab picked us up and took us to the Durham train station to go to the Newcastle train station. IMG_6520.JPG

For the rest of the evening, we were just exploring around Newcastle.

Now, I am still sitting in the pub while the locals are still playing games and watching the football game 🙂

Tomorrow we are headed to Edinburg, Scotland. Not sure if I will have wifi there, but I will blog about our trip when I get back into a wifi zone.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th of July back in America!

Until next time,

Caitlin
