Hope all of you have had a great Halloween! Halloween has always been my favorite time of the year, but with it falling on a Monday this year, it was a long day of sitting in classes taking exams. As soon as 3:15pm came around, I was heading home to celebrate my brother’s birthday and Halloween πŸ™‚

I had the perfect costume planned out for Halloween, but with studying for exams and homework, I didn’t have anytime to go shopping, which caused me to put together a last minute scarecrow outfit.

Once my family gotΒ home from school and work, my siblings and I got ready for Halloween and went to North Hills. My little brother met up with friends to go trick-or-treating and we celebrated my older brother’s birthday by eating at a restaurant at North Hills. When we finished eating, we went to my grandparents’ house for a visit.Β We walked around the neighborhood to look at Halloween decorations, talk to neighbors, and get candy then we went back to our house. When my little brother got home from trick-or-treating with his friends, we celebrated my older brother’s birthday more.

Even though I had exams and Halloween landed on a Monday, it still turned out to be successful.

Finishing the night off on a sugar overload and working on a paper that is due in the morning. I would love to hear what you did for Halloween and what you dressed up as πŸ™‚ Β Hope everyone has a lovely November 1st!

Until next time,

Caitlin xxx
