This past weekend was full of Holiday cheer. Saturday was the Raleigh Christmas parade and the Lighting of the Tree event at North Hills. The Christmas parade is always fun, and this year there were even more entries than in years past. Local places give out free hot chocolate too, so it’s nice to warm up with a free cup of hot cocoa while watching the parade with family.
After the parade was the Lighting of the Tree event at North Hills. From snow slopes to sled down, to listening to bands perform Christmas music, it was the perfect way to put people in the Christmas spirit.
After the Christmas festivities, I met up with friends downtown at Raleigh Beer Garden. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly suggest doing so. The atmosphere, music, beer selection, everything is spot on.
Wednesday, my family and I will be going to the mountains for Thanksgiving, so be on the lookout for a Thanksgiving post soon. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and eats plenty so your family members won’t make you eat the leftovers for every meal 😉

Until next time,
