A Saturday in December

Today has been such a fun Saturday. I was finally able to wake up to Christmas movies playing instead of my alarm clock. I’m at the point in the semester where if I hear my alarm clock one more time due to having to go to class, I feel like I could get sick. #CollegeStruggles, am I right? The end of the semester is so close!

After having a lazy morning, I went with one of my friends to a cider tasting at The Glass Jug Beer Lab, which I highly recommend checking out. It’s such a chill place with good drinks. Can’t beat paying $6 for 5 tastings and spending time with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time.

Next on my list of Saturday to-dos, was to go get a fresh Christmas tree from Shepherd’s Way Farms with the family and decorate for Christmas. After taking in all the Christmas tree smells and goodness, we finally found our tree and claimed it. Also, there was a pile of Christmas tree branches and I collected as much as I could to make my car and bedroom smell like Christmas 🙂

Once we got home with our tree we decorated and watched National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and to keep the Christmas spirit going, we made Christmas cookies. The littlest and sugariest cookies that are somehow the best.

Now we’re watching Hallmark movies with Christmas tree smell filling up the house. I would call that a successful Saturday. Hope you guys are also having a fun and lazy weekend!

Until next time,
