Since I have been asked about my hair routine and I already did a post about that, I thought I would post about my other frequently asked questions, which is what makeup I use. I’m excited to share my makeup routine because it is literally so easy and cheap.

Foundation. I won’t count this as step 1 since I only use it every now and then.

I normally never wear foundation unless I am going somewhere that is more dressy, but I added my favorite kind of foundation anyway. When I do use foundation, I use Maybelline® FIT ME!® Matte + Poreless Foundation – Fair Shades. This type of foundation never has to be touched up and lasts a really long time.

Step 1 – Concealer.

On a daily basis, I only use a little concealer for under my eyes and a little on my chin. The only concealer that I have fallen in love with is Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer, 312 Light. It is really easy to rub in and doesn’t smear or anything. Once its on your face, it doesn’t go anywhere.

Step 2 – Powder.

The type of face powder I use is Maybelline® FIT ME!® Matte + Poreless Powder. I just get a brush and blot it into where my concealer is and then on the rest of my face.

Step 3 – Blush.

I also sometimes use e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder, but my cheeks are naturally rosy, so I don’t use a lot of it or very often. I use e.l.f. Baked Highlighter for the corners of my eyes sometimes too.

Now for the eyes. I do my eye makeup after my face makeup since I mostly just use powder and I don’t like face powder getting stuck in the eye makeup. Waiting to do eye makeup after everything else creates a fresher look.

Step 4 – Brow Enhancer.

I use e.l.f. Eyebrow Enhancer to line my brows because it is more natural than other brow pencils I have used in the past. This is a really good brow pencil not to make it look like you have more brows than you do, but just to line the brow. It comes with a brush on the end too, so I just line my eyebrows lightly and then use the brush.

Step 5 – Eyeliner.

My absolute favorite type of eyeliner is Maybelline® Eye Studio® Master Precise™ Eyeliner – 110 Black. Because of the thin point, its really easy to use and doesn’t smudge or fade throughout the day. It stays looking sharp and bold.

Step 6 – Mascara.

I have a hard time finding mascara I love because my eyelashes are super sensitive to mascara and are allergic to certain brands, so my eyes burn and itch when I don’t get a certain type of mascara. If I bought mascara that didn’t bother my eyelashes, then it would look like I wasn’t even wearing mascara. But on the Today show, they mentioned COVERGIRL® Total Tease Mascara for top beauty products, so I gave it a try.

Turns out, that type of mascara has never bothered my lashes and actually looks like I am wearing mascara. I have been buying this brand for a couple months now, and I’m not planning on switching any time soon. It also has a little teaser on a side of the wand, which separates my lashes and makes them look long and keeps my lashes from feeling clumpy. LOVE this mascara. I highly recommend it.

Skincare Products.

I usually do a face mask once every week or two. SheaMoisture® African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask – Tamarind Extract & Tea Tree Oil and SheaMoisture Peace Rose Complex Facial Mask are my favorite masks that I have tried so far.

I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Makeup Removing Wipes to take off makeup and Aveeno® Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing Body Yogurt Moisturizer – Vanilla And Oats (which was also recommended by the Today show) to make my skin softer for the winter weather.

Then of course you have to complete everything with CHANEL CHANCE EAU VIVE. For day-to-day hand lotion, I use Nourish Organic Hydrating & Smooth Lavender Mint Body Lotion. I also just use Carmex Original Tube Lip Balm since my lips have a natural pink tent.

That’s it!

I literally never do or use anything else. As a college student with early classes and on a budget, this makeup routine is super easy.

I have linked everything I mentioned and since I buy my makeup at Target, that’s the site I linked the products with.

Here’s a quick selfie in my crappy bedroom lighting just to show you my daily makeup look without wearing foundation.

Please let me know what else you would like for me to write a blog post about. I hope you found this post useful and will checkout some of these products!

Until next time,
