Saturday Trip to Midtown Farmers’ Market

Saturdays are my jam! Every Saturday from April 14-November 3, North Hills has a farmers’ market, Midtown Farmers’ Market , from 8am-12pm. I’ve been once before, but it was so crowded it was hard to look around and buy things.

This morning, I waited a little later to go and there weren’t as many people. Probably because it was already in the upper 80s and super muggy outside too, but at least I could walk around and take my time looking.

The smell of all the produce, flowers, and baked goods were to die for! The peaches and sunflowers were definitely getting most of the attention at the farmers’ market. There was an acoustic band playing varieties of songs to listen to as the shoppers walked around. Almost every family had a dog with them and the dogs especially liked the doggie baked goods. I mean if I were a dog, I would stay in the carb section too 😉

There were also booths that had jewelry, beer, meat, homemade chapstick, honey, and other things that were also super yummy smelling. Chiropractors, personal trainers, and other businesses had booths set up for advertising their services that were helpful to learn about. Basically the farmers’ market had everything and it’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. Go check it out!
