Hen Weekend/Southbank/America

This weekend was so fun, but went by way too fast! I haven’t had WiFi to write a post for the last few days, so here comes a post about what I’ve been up to since my last post.

Friday, my sister, mom, and I headed to Cambridge for my future sister-in-law’s Hen Party. Friday was spent mostly traveling and then once we got to the house for the weekend with all the girls, we played games and chilled.

Saturday we went into Cambridge to go punting. That was my first time punting, and it was so fun and relaxing! I could’ve stayed on there all day!

After we went punting, we went to a local park to play bridal games, walked around town, got some ice cream, went to dinner at a really nice mill house, went to a 80s/90s dance club, and went back to the house to play more games.

Sunday we left Cambridge and went back to the apartment in Chelmsford. My brothers and I went into London for the day while the rest of the family went to check into the hotel we were going to be staying at near the airport for the night. We walked around the Southbank area then met the family at an Italian restaurant for dinner. On our way to dinner, it started pouring rain during the prettiest sunset. I didn’t think London could get any prettier, but it did! After dinner, we walked through London and went back to the station to go to our hotel for the night.

Since it was our last night all together, we played games and soaked up the time we had left with each other. Bright and early Monday morning, my siblings dropped my mom, little brother, and I off at Heathrow to go back to America.

One last sibling picture together before flying out ❤

Not a huge fan of Virgin’s food on the flight over to England and back to America, but I have to say the “Mile High Tea” scones and jam while watching Mary Poppins Returns made the flight a little better. So cute!

After 23 hours with no sleep and traveling, we finally made it home late last night. Already missing England and can’t wait to be back in December!

This whole trip was perfect and so so fun! Thank you all for joining me in this adventure by reading, liking, and following along!

Now that I’m back home and don’t have England posts to write about, leave suggestions of posts you would like for me to cover! I start college back tomorrow, but I’ll definitely keep the blog posts coming!

Until next time,

Caitlin xxx
